Yoga in Ribérac applying the APOR method (Posturo-Respiratory Approach) of Doctor B De Gasquet: It is based on 3 principles: Breathing, self-enlargement and Body position.

After several years of stretching practice and diffenret type of yoga, the APOR method is, in my opinion, the most coherent respecting the biomemechanics and physiology of the human body. No need to makeup with complex postures, I suggest you get to the point.

These 3 fundamental principles will allow you to work while respecting your physical integrity:

  • By protecting your spine (essential for everyone because all the nervous system goes through it to innervate the rest of the body)

  • By strengthening certain abdominals, and other muscles (paravertebral,...) according to your needs and your morphology.

  • By stimulating your pelvic floor without risks of unnecessary pressures (rehabilitation after childbirth, ...),

  • By stretching certain muscles, according to your needs and your posture.

  • And the icing on the cake, become a spiritual yogi, according to etymologique of the word, through a respiratory work that will be involved, (cardiac coherence and others, ...) which is at the base of the process.

Work with simple postures (adapted to your abilities and your body shape) that require concentration and precise tone, precise movements and bio-mechanically justified movement intentions, then breathe in the posture.

This is the yoga that I am offering you, which is only a pretext for breathing and whose action can be extremely powerful.

You are even more concerned by this type of work if you have scoliosis, kyphosis, if you want to mobilize your back safely, ...

The impact of this type of work is also on the internal organs (intestines, bladder, heart, lungs, ... and even on the brain !!!)

And since I have to consider the human being in front of me as a whole (holistic approach) and not as a machine, I suggest to each practitioner, in this non-judgmental workspace, to express themselves freely about themselves. at the start and end of the session.
